The Business Development Manager (f/m/d) – Beer Global Key Accounts will drive high-level collaborations and partnerships with Global Brewing Key Account customers, through a strong knowledge of the customer. This position will manage accounts globally through revenue growth and commercial execution with a specific focus on initial phases of the purchase cycle and ‘winning the spec’. The Business Development Manager will elevate Pall’s position and will have responsibility of owning the account strategy. This position is part of the Food & Beverage Business Unit and will be located remote. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Continuous Customer Discovery through mapping regional Customer ecosystem and identify key stakeholders, have a strong pulse on the customer’s strategic initiatives and develop key relationships and champion breakthrough thinking; emphasizes the importance of exploring unique paths even when they run contrary to current thinking
- Align with Internal and External Stakeholders on All Strategic Initiatives (System Sales Strategy, Contracts Negotiations, Service, etc)
- Build Account Strategies, playbook, and roadmap for growth
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, a proven track record in a Business Development role or Key/strategic/global Account Management role, including a consistent successful record in sales and solution selling
- Experience in tender management with multiple examples of successfully leading/ project-managing a complex tender response with the ability to work independently and part of a team
- An ability to have external and internal technical discussions, ideally through experience with process engineering
- Experience with Beer industry an advantage
- Ability to “think out of the box” and express creative thinking and innovative ideas is as important as good verbal and written communication skills and fluent written and spoken English
- International travel up to 50%
- The ability to “wow” the customer
- Coaches others on leading effective dialog with customers that proactively addresses customer needs and successfully positions brands with the ultimate goal
