Our Calgary, AB  Branch is looking for a  Field Service Technician I (Confined Space Technician)! This role   is associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination and the handling of hazardous materials. Why work with Clean Harbors?

  • Engages in toolbox and pre-job planning meetings
  • Completes FLRA and follows JHA/SOP requirements 
  • Operate, and work around light and heavy equipment including, but not limited to: pumps, vacuum trucks, and equipment, oil spill boom, generators, bobcats, ect; 
  • Performs emergency response activities including, but not limited to chemical and water spills, etiological and biological contamination, tank cleaning, equipment decontamination; 
  • Working at heights safely;
  • Handles various hand tools, powered industrial equipment and tools including pressure washers and saws, etc; 
  • High School diploma preferred; 
  • Previous related field labor/hazardous waste removal experience;
  • Previous industrial service experience preferred; 
  • Ability to travel; this position requires up to 40% travel for extended periods of time; 
  • Class 5 and Reliable transportation; 
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract; 
  • Available for 24 Hour On Call -Emergency Response;
