Formwork Carpenter

We’re looking for the right person who can get us the right result as Formwork Carpenter, based in the Auckland. We are looking for 5 Formwork Carpenters for the Auckland region. ABOUT THE ROLE As Formwork Carpenter, you’ll be working alongside our team on projects in and around the Auckland region, producing high quality foundation pads and structures. You will have:

• 3 years of verifiable work experience
• A relevant trade qualification, or working towards
• Experience in mainstream formwork carpentry would be preferred
• A commitment to health and safety

Job duties include:

• Constructing formwork, falsework and other timber structures
• Operating items of small plant and machinery on which you have been deemed competent
• Manual labour including lifting, carrying and shovelling
• Assisting all other trades on site to allow tasks to be completed as efficiently as possible
• Spotting plant and machinery
• Placing concrete
• Collecting and/or delivering materials
• Site cleaning duties and general housekeeping

This is a 'hands on role', where you'll be able to utilise your experience from across the building industry and other related projects. Ordinary days of work are Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:00am and 5:30pm. Minimum guaranteed hours are 40 hours per week. We will also support the successful candidate through the relevant Civil Trades qualifications.
