Senior/ Product Manager (Financial Markets)

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to fulfill all product requirements from front offices (for senior role)
• Work with traders in understanding their latest business initiatives
• Conduct market research on new products, and have a good understanding on the relevant risk and regulatory requirements. Monitor the latest regulatory developments relating to financial markets
• Present the business initiatives and product features. Liaise with various internal stakeholders, including risk, legal and compliance, accounts, tax, IT, operations, in order to coordinate the development of the new initiatives.
• Perform feasibility studies, preliminary product risk assessment and coordinate the whole process of product due diligence and obtain approvals
• Report the project progress and hurdles to front office and senior management
• Oversee and work with front offices of oversea branches / subsidiaries on product due diligence

• Tertiary educated in business, risk, finance or related disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years (for senior role) or 5 years working experience in banking or financial industry.
• Related project management skills and communication skills.
• Sufficient knowledge in treasury products and related regulatory requirements.
• Understand operations and workflows within a commercial bank.
• Able to work independently with various stakeholders.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, Mandarin speaking will be an advantage.
