Financial Reporting (Reputable Financial Institution)

We are currently looking for a passionate Accounting & Finance professional to join our project team and support our client's needs. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and communication skills, as well as able to work independently. Key Responsibilities:

• General ledger to source reconciliation, and work along with other team members on financial accounting and controls duties;
• Month-end closing, preparation of journal entries and supporting schedules for posting to ledger;
• Ensure proper reconciliation of inter-companies accounts with Singapore counterparts and to investigate any discrepancies noted;
• Analyze material variance on the financial results in the course of month-end closing process, and provide input to team members for explaining the variance;
• Prepare schedules and reporting package to fulfil group reporting requirements;
• Participation of Finance projects to take initiative on driving changes in workflow and processes
• Prepare HKMA regulatory returns such as assets & liabilities position, RMB business activities and provide inputs for other returns if necessary
• Monitor and prepare daily / weekly LMR 
• Ad-hoc project as assigned

• Bachelor degree holder, preferred with major in Accounting, Finance and Business Administrations;
• With 2-3 years work experience, open to candidate from non-banking industry 
• Growth mindset to aim at development personally and contribute to the team
• Ability to work under pressures and multi-tasking
