About the Role As a team member of shareholder reporting team, to assist in the closing process enhancement project. Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for Financial Closing Control for Finance IRT Team (70%)
- Oversee and prepare month-end closing journal entries, reports, and statutory returns for submission to the Insurance Authority.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS requirements, ensuring accurate and proper financial accounting.
- Supervise the assigned tasks and create a well-planned reporting schedule to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide support to management and other teams as needed.
- Conduct analysis, review financial information, and explain variances accurately.
- Perform user acceptance testing, ensuring data accuracy and validating system reports.
- University graduate with 5 year experience
- member of recognized professional accounting is required
- Sound IFRS 17 accounting knowledge and experience
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in Excel functions
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Solid knowledge for SUN and AS400 is preferrable.
- You are required to obtain the relevant license(s) if your job involves regulated activities
