Application Support, Equity Trading, Banking

Our client, a prominent financial services group with a great presence in the APAC market, is seeking a candidate to provide application support to the investment team. Job duties:

• Responsible for providing L2 support on an Equity Front to Back office system
• Handle user queries, troubleshoot technical issues, update the JIRA board, and ensure smooth operations of the system
• Staying updated on HKEX Market practice changes, SFC regulatory items, and being familiar with the HK stock market trading flow
• Hands-on system configuration changes, assisting the development team in system testing, and preparing system documentation.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT system development, support and implementation with financial industry
• Demonstrate proficiency in providing L2 application support for financial applications
• Strong command of Oracle DB and SQL in Linux/AIX platforms
• Experience in JSON API and distributed system environments would be an advantage
• Knowledge of SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) is considered a valuable asset
• Able to work well under pressure, possess good analytical and communication skills
