Company Description Our client is a leading global asset manager with a strong track record of delivering exceptional investment solutions to institutional clients worldwide. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional for a VP, Institutional Client Servicing position. In this role, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the client coverage team, focused on building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients in the Asia region. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the institutional sales team to proactively develop and strengthen relationships with institutional clients in the Asia region
  • Attend investment review meetings with clients to provide expert insights and recommendations on investment strategies and portfolio performance
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and providing timely and accurate responses
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis on client portfolios, investment products, and market trends to enhance client engagement and provide value-added solutions
  • Partner with internal teams, including portfolio managers, research analysts, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions to clients
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' investment objectives, risk tolerance, and unique requirements to tailor offerings and deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape to provide strategic guidance to clients and contribute to business development efforts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, CFA) preferred
  • Extensive experience in institutional client servicing within the asset management industry, with a particular focus on the Asia region
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing institutional client relationships, with a demonstrated ability to generate new business
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Proficiency in relevant industry software and tools
