Passionate about modern technological integration within the fintech industry, the role of a Software Engineer will require an expert product skillset to build alongside a team of like-minded peers. Primary responsibilities - Develop quality software, build innovative solutions capable of delivering excellent user experience for financial custody and settlements - Work with team to develop enhancements and major features to support product vision, contribute to new services to retain existing clients and attract new customers. - Refactor code to fix system issues and improve performance, contribute to maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. - Meet team’s definition of done (meet acceptance criteria, pass code review, implement tests, etc.). - Actively participate in requirements design and refinement process. - Assist DevOps team and stakeholders prepare for smooth releases. What you will bring: - Must have expert-level Angular mastery, including technical design, implementation, and ability to bob and weave between usage of different advanced Angular concepts. 7+ years of experience with modern TypeScript frameworks (Angular, React, etc.). Candidates with less experience will be considered for an intermediate position. - Fluent in English. - Excellent at analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Self-driven, able to communicate within a team and work independently. - Passion for continuous learning and growth. - Familiar with Agile principles and values. - Experience working with version control (Git) and other basic development tools. - Experience working with REST APIs. - Experience with modern CSS and component libraries (Bootstrap, Material, etc.). Additional Expertise (Not Required): - Experience working in a startup / fintech. - Experience working in a Scrum Team. - Experience with automated testing (Jasmine, Karma). - Familiar with responsive design, i.e. mobile first. - Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Familiar with CI/CD (Github Actions, etc.) and cloud computing (AWS). - Domain knowledge in virtual assets or finance (DeFi, NFTs, payments, wealth management).
