The incumbent will be responsible for the analysis of evolving economic conditions, market trends, and their impact on the BCVMC’s regulatory framework. This information will be used to proactively make informed policy decisions and amendments to the General Orders. Additionally, the Senior Policy and Market Analyst will manage policy projects, coordinate stakeholder reporting, and maintain a comprehensive market information database to support effective decision-making and day-to-day operations. The position demands a considerable degree of diplomacy, a high level of analytical skills, and a continuous improvement, self-starter and problem-solving attitude. Working in a small but demanding environment, issues of a confidential and complex nature are routinely encountered. This position is located at the BCVMC office with reasonable flexibility for limited remote work. Occasional travel may be required. This position includes an attractive compensation and extended health benefits package with a pay range of $90,000-$110,000 per year.
