- Provide professional and friendly customer service, both in-person and over the phone.
- Identify and locate the correct parts for customers using catalogues and computer systems.
- Place accurate orders with suppliers and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain inventory records, perform stock checks, and restock parts as needed.
- Assist customers with sales, pricing, and transactions, promoting additional parts and accessories.
- Offer basic technical support, addressing customer questions about parts installation and compatibility.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth communication and efficient processes.
- Keep accurate documentation of customer interactions, orders, and invoices.
- Adhere to safety protocols and comply with company policies and regulations.
- Previous experience in parts-related roles, preferably in the automotive industry; additional technical or automotive-related education is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their applications.
- Familiarity with parts catalogues, computerized inventory systems, and standard office software.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
