- Collaborate with internal/external teams for successful project delivery.
- Drive end-to-end implementation of security controls and tools.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Work within an Agile environment
- Project Management: Support and plan for Information Security initiatives, and lead end-to-end implementation.
- Leadership: Provide leadership for your direct reports and lead project operations.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Assess the impact on information security governance, recommending updates. Perform and register project risk assessments.
- Vendor Management: Proactively manage vendor relationships including SDAs, and own change management for Information Security projects.
- Strategy: Support the development of Information Security strategy and roadmaps.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify improvements in security functions.
- Documentation and communication: Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Experience leading projects and reviewing implementation plans and contracts.
- Vendor management and engagement experience, including negotiating SDAs.
- In-depth knowledge of security concepts, cyber-attacks, threat vectors, risk management, and incident management.
- Working knowledge of industry security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or NZISM.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and keeping up to date with industry trends.
- People leadership experience is advantageous, but having the desire to lead and inspire is vital.
