Our employer partner needs a dual qualified technician with a passion for maintenance magnificence. This position is responsible for the delivering of increased plant reliability and performance through the execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Assisting in developing and implementing a plan to address problematic equipment and improve maintenance performance.  About the engineering manager role:
  • This role reports to the Site Maintenance Manager.
  • Installations, maintenance, preventative maintenance, and fault-finding on all equipment -mechanical/electrical/pneumatic.
  • Ensuring machines and equipment on site are safe, working efficiently, and fit for purpose
  • Big picture as well as detailed understanding of complex systems
  • Work closely with Manufacturing to support plant uptime efficiencies
  • Drive and ensure compliance with the Quality Policy and IMS Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintain a quality preventative maintenance programme.
About you:
  • You have a Millwright qualification (Dual qualified – electrical and mechanical)
  • Proven experience in maintenance in a processing plant. Food processing will be high on our radar list.
  • Committed to Health & Safety and industry compliance.
  • Good team player with a passion for manufacturing.
  • You own a cat or a fiddle. Or both, because that’s just delightful.
