Head of Domestic Broking

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a Financial advice provider, for a Head of Domestic Broker position in Auckland. As a leader, you will excel at effectively managing staff and fostering a motivated, engaged culture based in their East Auckland office.  About the role: This position blends operational support with people management. Leading a team of just under 15 direct reports, you will oversee the performance of the domestic team. Your responsibilities include ensuring your team possesses a deep understanding of domestic insurance products, creating and implementing strategy for the wider team and individual targets, coaching and mentoring staff for professional development and managing the domestic department's budget whilst also engaging with the wider senior leadership team.  Skills and experience needed

• Prior people management experience is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of domestic insurance lines, regulatory compliance and risk framework.
• Level 5 certificate (general insurance) is mandatory.
• Proven experience in business strategy and cultivating a high-performing team.
