Community Support Worker - School Holiday Programme - Wellington Our School Holiday Program is all about fun activities in a safe and positive environment. Our team of support workers ensure that all children are catered for and active participation is achieved.

  • Fixed term, Fulltime commencing
  • Mon - Fri
  • 8am - 4pm
As a Community Support Worker in one of our School Holiday Programmes, you will work as part of a team, dedicated to creating and maintaining a safe, secure and healthy space, where children with a learning disability can spend time in the holidays. Reporting to the Programme Leader, you will facilitate meaningful activities and support children to engage in a variety of tasks. These are fixed term contracts which coincide with the school holidays. If you're interested in supporting people to develop self-confidence and independence, and live their lives of choice, lives like any other, in their own communities, then we want to hear from you today! Skills & Experience
  • Committed and passionate for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives
  • Ability to communicate effectively and supportively with your colleagues and the people you support
  • Empathy and willingness to support people with their personal cares, such as bathing, dressing and toileting
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Willing to support people with disabilities
  • Reliability, Commitment, and Passion for working alongside people
  • We are looking for vibrant, energetic people who enjoy having fun
  • Ability to multi task and having confidence around children
