About the role: With significant growth across our New Zealand business, we now have a rare opportunity for an experienced in-house consultant to join us, based in either Auckland or Wellington. You’ll be involved in the complete recruitment life cycle: from internal client briefings, preparing marketing material, advertising, screening & interviewing and supporting your managers through the hiring process. You will work on a diverse portfolio including the recruitment of technical specialists and FST staff. You’ll be actively involved in implementing innovative and successful ways of sourcing scarce candidates and comfortable working with global recruitment tools and systems. We need someone who can work autonomously, be comfortable with some ambiguity, develop relationships remotely while working collaboratively as part of the Asia Pacific HR team. You’ll have at least 5 years recruitment experience in the engineering and / or construction industry, preferably within a large professional services firm. Provision of high service levels to internal clients is essential, plus a professional and consultative approach throughout your work. Attention to detail is critical together with strong literacy skills. This unique role will see you managing vacancies across all of New Zealand. You will be able to take the lead on projects, but likewise also be able come in as support to your colleagues as project work and demands require.
