Job details

Working within a project team environment potentially on multiple projects. Proactively performing expediting activities to ensure the delivery of equipment materials services and related documentation. Developing and maintaining status reports. Attending and potentially managing purchase order kickoff meetings. Attending local expediting visits as required. Closing purchase orders. Communicating with suppliers to resolve issues affecting a purchase order. Reviewing material and service invoices for accuracy. Coordinating transportation and logistics as required. Performing other duties as requested Leading purchase order kickoff meetings Expediting purchase orders as required Initiating the closeout of purchase orders Communicating with suppliers to resolve issues affecting a purchase order. Attending status meetings with clients project management and suppliers. Mentoring supporting and guiding staff. Assisting the procurement lead in the development or improvement of corporate work processes and procedures. Performing other duties as requested by the company.

Requirements

Minimum of a bachelor s degree in any Engineering discipline Business Administration or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement. Strong understanding of business processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation skills. Strong organizational skills. Strong analytical skills. Strong multitasking skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work independently. Ability to work in a fastpaced environment. Clerical experience in a related function. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong attention to details. Problemsolving and decisionmaking skills. Ability to adapt in a changing environment.
