Make a difference providing high quality documents and reporting for both external and internal audiences. WFH 1-2 days a week. Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role Reporting to the National Manager Operational Assurance, the National Advisor Reports and Data is responsible for providing a wide range of support. This includes assisting in continuous improvement and producing high quality technical documents. You will engage with the organisation to put together lessons learnt, provide data analysis, and finalise reports for a broad audience. This role works alongside operational reviews, and overtime will be required from time to time in the event of large incidents. The team has a wide scope including urban search and rescue, communication centres, fire stations and training, as well as operational reviews and station audits. We are open to discussing with the right candidate working in their current if we can provide suitable workspace and facilities. Ko tāu nā i tēnei tūranga - What you’ll bring to the role: We are looking for someone with a broad skillset to create final documents that will be published internally and externally. It would be an advantage to be comfortable working with a range of technical information including operational documents, policies, and procedures. Experience in the emergency sector is highly desirable. To be successful in this role, we’d expect you will have:
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high quality technical reports with for a wide audience
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Experience working in an operational environment or good understanding of operational environment
  • Proven ability creating and maintaining strong relationships
  • Continuous improvement mindset

The salary range for this role is $112,415 - $124,906 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role. Ko wai mātou - who are we?
