As they prepare for further growth, they want to level up their People strategy and move the team towards a more agile, product-driven function with a customer-centred approach. They're on a mission to work even smarter and faster to minimise effort across the employee lifecycle. Less clicks, assumptions, and complexity. More powerful insights and solutions. This is where you'll come in. As their first People Projects & Insights Director, you'll lead a team of three focused on three pillars: People Improvement Projects, People Insights & Analytics, and People Tools & Systems. Reporting to their VP of People, is a permanent role with high visibility and huge potential to drive significant change. You'll drive the engine of innovation across the People team with data-led solutions tailored around their unique business needs rather than traditional HR practices. You'll ask the tough questions and facilitate complex change projects. You'll act as a trusted advisor to your peers and the leadership team to anticipate and tackle the hard people challenges that come with growth. What you'll be doing People Improvement Projects:
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of business issues and how they translate into people strategy and leadership goals.
- Running complex diagnostic and improvement initiatives designed to improve the employee experience.
- Facilitating the wider team and acting as a hands-on program manager when needed to drive complex projects with a design thinking approach.
- Cultivating strong relationships with business leaders across a range of disciplines and geographies to understand problem spaces and create tailored solutions.
- Defining and reporting on meaningful metrics to measure effectiveness and performance that are tailored to each organisation's needs.
- Providing strategic insights, data-driven recommendations, and thought leadership to the business to define organisational design and priorities.
- Thinking critically about organisational strategy and data and how you structure and communicate your ideas.
- Investing in the development of the People team to support the growth of their analytical skills.
- Managing the tech and systems required to support employee life today and for future growth.
- Evaluating, selecting, and streamlining the People tech stack to support the various needs across the business.
- Redefining current processes and implementing best practices using innovative and technology-led solutions.
- A 7-star employee experience. Clarity on the most impactful problems the People team should solve with a methodical project plan to facilitate change.
- Be an owner of solutions. Moving the business and people team away from any assumptions by identifying the most important insights.
- Impact over effort. Wide adoption of the people tools and dashboards needed to minimise the workload across the business.
- You’ll start with an intro conversation with Mark from Re:work, who will be your main point of contact throughout the process.
- The first stage will be a 60-minute interview with Flick (your future manager) to go through your background and motivations.
- The 2nd stage will be a 60-minute interview with two peers.
- The 3rd stage will be a Case Study presentation to understand your approach to problem-solving across the three pillars.
- The final stage will be an on-site meeting at their Barcelona headquarters, where you'll have the opportunity to meet everyone in person and see their culture in action.
