Motion Designer

Motion Designer / Animator / Video Creator Location: Remote; UK and Europe is preferred, US is acceptable.   Summary We’re seeking a determined and enthusiastic video creator who will play a crucial role in bringing our Web3 products and brand story to life through engaging and informative content as we scale our start-up business. You will work within a small marketing team to grow our user base, raise brand awareness, and amplify the impact of announcements through our social channels. The ideal candidate will know how to use their initiative and be responsible for producing captivating and visually appealing video animations that communicate quickly and effectively to a diverse audience, aligning with our specifications and branding.   About the Company We’re a blockchain technology software development company whose mission is to create revolutionary and disruptive web3 tools for trading and investing. We’ve developed several products over the past two to three years and are gearing up for public beta and launches.   What’s Needed

• To pioneer creative ways to use video to enhance our brand, content, and product offerings - whilst staying on brand
• Grasp the intention of tasks and provide creative video solutions that align with the company brand and messaging
• Accountability for the day-to-day production and prompt delivery of animation for social media, digital advertising, instructional and product feature content 
• Pioneer new material and keep up with the latest industry trends in motion graphics and animation content, as well as our competitors
• Keep up with news, topics, and trends on blockchain and cryptocurrency
• Be the authority by advising on best practices and maintaining an organised video content library, as well as assist in video production planning and coordination when required
• Manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
• Edit and assemble raw video footage, audio and graphics into compelling and informative content
• Demonstrate proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Final Cut, Creative Cloud Suite such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc). Working knowledge of Figma is considered an advantage in exporting UI assets for video content

• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to work to tight deadlines
• Proven experience in creating animated promo videos for products and a grasp of how to translate complex ideas into captivating stories
• Understands the basics of Web3, blockchain, trading tools and is quick to learn and experiment to grasp the products
• Strong portfolio showcasing dynamic animations, especially those that successfully incorporate product screens
• Experience in having worked within the fintech or crypto space is considered a bonus
• Understands design and animation principles and has strong attention to detail
• No degree is required – but the candidate must have a good level of professional experience, a passion for excelling in the field, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Time management and organisational skills are a must
