Corporate Solicitor

Exciting opportunity for an exceptional Corporate Solicitor (8+ years PQE) to join us as a consultant.   Are you a Corporate Solicitor looking to join a fully remote, innovative and exciting law firm?  If so, this role might be for you.   About Us   Shoredons & Co Legal is a fully remote, boutique law firm. We’re on a mission to build an attractive firm for both clients and staff.   We specialise in advising businesses, so we advise on corporate, commercial, data protection, employment, and commercial property law issues.   We’re a relaxed firm, but we hold ourselves to high standards. It’s essential that all of our solicitors adopt the same approach.   About the Role   We’re looking for an exceptional Corporate Solicitor to join our team as a consultant.   You’ll be working remotely, and you’ll be responsible for managing your own files from start to finish. You’ll be a key member of the team, working with other solicitors across the business.   You’ll be responsible for advising on a broad range of corporate law issues, including:  

1. Small-medium sized business sales and acquisitions;
2. Shareholders Agreements and Articles;
3. Share buybacks;
4. Share transfers;
5. Company reorganisations; and
6. Much more.

This role would suit someone looking to progress within a law firm, work autonomously, bring ideas to the table, and make a real difference to a small business.   We’re also big on culture. The successful candidate must be friendly and approachable, with an appetite for delivering high standards.   Remuneration   The successful candidate will be offered a competitive fee share arrangement.   The bulk of your work will be generated by us. However, you’ll also have the opportunity to boost your earnings by bringing new clients into the firm.   You should expect to be paid:  

• 50% of all fees paid by clients of the firm for your services (this equates to around £150 per hour);
• 60% of all fees paid by clients you bring into the firm for your services (this equates to around £180 per hour); and
• 10% commission on all fees paid by clients you bring into the firm, for services delivered by other solicitors.

Requirements  

• An English qualified solicitor;
• At least 8 years PQE as a corporate solicitor;
• The ability to work autonomously, handling corporate queries from start to finish;
• A good understanding of law firm compliance, including around the Accounts Rules;
• Exceptional drafting and communication skills; and
• Responsive, organised, enthusiastic, friendly, approachable, and reliable.
