Senior Accounts Receivable Officer

The Company My client is a large privately owned business who has been operating for many years and has continued to see growth through expanding existing business units and through acquisition. They are located in Takapuna and have a stunning head office and parking available on site. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join a collaborative team on a 6-month contract with the potential to go permanent. The Role In this role you will be working in the Accounts Receivable and will be reporting into the Team Leader. You will be responsible for your own accounts and will complete the accounts receivable and credit control functions. As a Senior Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be involved with implementing a new system, identifying and actioning process improvement and the documentation of these processes. You will be critical to the success of wider finance team and your responsibilities will include:

• Daily customer receipting and allocations
• Reconciliation of customer accounts
• Processing of customer rebates
• Following up on overdue customer payments
• Managing debtor's reports
• Dealing with customer queries
• Setting up new customers and completing credit checks
• Identify and implementation process improvement.
• Key player in system implementation

Your profile: You will be someone that has experience in a full function accounts receivable role within a large organisation. You will be comfortable with a high-volume environment and will have the ability to build strong relationships with a focus on customer service. The successful candidate will take owner ship of the role and have experience in system implementations and driving change. Due to the size of organisation, you will be an excellent communicator as you be liaising with several internal stakeholders.
