About the role: The Portfolio Delivery Practice plays the critical role taking a structured and strategic approach to managing the Ecosystem projects, programmes and initiatives with the primary goal of aligning project investments with strategic objectives and ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and risks managed effectively, to maximise overall business value. We're looking for a 12-month Fixed-Term Practice Lead - Portfolio Delivery , who will be accountable for establishing and cultivating the practice and defining a compelling vision and strategy in alignment with the broader goals and objectives of the Ecosystem and Fisher & Paykel. In this pivotal role, collaboration with stakeholders and teams across the organisation will be key. Your focus will be on comprehending their needs and priorities and ensuring the delivery of sustainable value. You’ll utilise innovation processes such as Design Thinking, Lean and Agile, showcasing digital ways of working to drive efficiency and transformation. Leading and mentoring a team of skilled professionals, you will champion continuous learning and professional growth. You will define roles and responsibilities within the team for effective delivery and establish the optimal use of methodologies, tools and processes, incorporating best practices and focusing a culture of continuous improvement. Positioned as an influential figure, staying ahead of industry advancements and implementing best practices to enhance the practice’s outcomes will be crucial. You will actively cultivate a collaborate and innovative cross-functional culture to ensure operational excellence, but also to evolve the practice, ensuring it remains responsive to the dynamic demands of the market.. About You To excel in this role, you should possess:- 7+ year’s experience with a focus on complex projects and team leadership.
- Proven experience in project and portfolio management, with a track record of successful project delivery in a global consumer organisation focused on either mobile applications or software as a service.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Experience using portfolio management tools and software.
- Knowledge and experience using innovation processes such as Design Thinking, Lean Start up and Agile to achieve successful outcomes.
- Proficient knowledge of Jira, Confluence and other project management tools.
- Experience managing third party providers and contractors.
- Able to read, write and speak Mandarin
- Managing Successful Programmes or similar certification
- Scaled Agile or similar certification
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards
