Job Summary The Treasury Associate will be responsible for the daytoday running of the treasury function such as the cash management operations account receivables and payables for the business operations within the local market What you will be doing

  • Supports treasury and cash management operations to ensure operations doesn t lack funds while liaising with the Finance Manager.
  • Prepare daily cash spreadsheet to ensure all finance transactions are recorded in the general ledger daily.
  • Perform daily financial transactions such as verifying calculating and posting accounts receivable/payable data.
  • Preparing the monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Maintaining relationship with Banking partners ensuring all bank mandates are up to date and that Sabi is conforming to all banking regulatory requirements under the guidance of the Finance Manager and central Treasury Unit.
  • Undertake appropriate procedures and processes around monthend and quarterclose activity.
  • Ensuring that the PAYE WHT and VAT are appropriately deducted and remitted.
  • Providing the necessary support for the statutory annual audit regulatory audit and tax audits by making relevant schedules and source documents available on time.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

Requirements

Special Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Management Finance Business or a related field of study
  • Have 24 years similar experience within a fastpaced environment.
  • Good analytical skills high level of accuracy and attention to details.
  • Relevant Accounting certification will be an added advantage.
  • Have good Microsoft Excel Skills and understanding of any accounting software.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural context/environment and demonstrate innovative practices.
  • Be an effective team player with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent mathematical analytical critical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
  • Must exhibit the highest level of personal and professional reliability honesty integrity and trust.
  • An absolute value for money sustainable results focus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare reports and policies.

Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field; Master\'s degree preferred. Strong understanding of sales methodologies, processes, and best practices, such as consultative selling, solution selling, and challenger selling. Proven experience in sales enablement, Sales Capability, sales training, or commercial operations roles, preferably in a B2B or technology-driven environment.
