We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Digital Tutor to join us on our exciting journey. Role Overview: As a Digital Tutor, your main responsibility will be to deliver expert teaching and learning for our L3 Adult Learning provision. Working closely with the Provision Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of skills development for effective teaching to our learners. The focus will be on providing an outstanding learning experience in preparation for their next steps. Main Responsibilities: · Deliver training to groups of learners working towards an accredited L3 qualification in digital and technical subject areas, conducted online. · Motivate and engage learners to help them realize their potential, managing learner retention through engaging delivery and assessment practices to meet company retention KPIs. · Identify learner strengths and weaknesses through initial assessments, implementing support strategies, and ensuring continual updates of group profiles for measurable progress. · Mark and assess learner work promptly, providing clear constructive feedback to support ongoing development. · Assist with Employability delivery, supporting learners with CV writing, job search, interview techniques, and confidence building, offering advice and guidance for informed decisions about future career goals. Ideal Candidate: · Minimum of 3 years relevant industrial/commercial experience in a similar role, with 2+ years of teaching digital courses up to L3. · L4 qualification or higher in Digital and Technical skills and L3 Teaching Qualification minimum, with a willingness to work towards L4 within 12 months of appointment. · Assessing Award – CAVA or willingness to work towards it in the first 3 months. · Up-to-date knowledge of current initiatives in the digital world, with the ability to assess effectively and utilize a range of technology, including Microsoft Teams. · Engaging teaching style online, with excellent knowledge of the subject areas.
