Job Description

In this key leadership role you will lead, promote and develop the services of Industrial Regulatory in the Upper North Island region to achieve our ambitious business goals. Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a culture of high performance, teamwork and customer service through effective leadership and communication, to maximise utilisation of teams.
  • Effectively and efficiently manage regional teams of inspectors, technicians and engineering surveyors to meet operational requirements. 
  • Multitasking and balancing multiple priorities, from scheduling, execution through to timesheets and invoicing meeting business processes.
  • Take accountability for the P&L and lead the growth and efficiency of your regions Regulatory business.
  • Develop and grow the business through identification of business opportunities across the Upper North Island Region.
  • Maintaining key clients within our business through relationship building and business development strategies.
  • Add value to the business by carrying out Inspections and identifying new opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Practical experience from within the Engineering sector, preferably in a Management role.
  • Ability to lead high performing teams of engineering/technical specialists and administrators.
  • Must be able to multitask and communicate effectively.
  • Exposure to financials i.e. finance for non-finance essential.
  • Extensive industry experience with a thorough understanding of statutory and safety requirements.
  • Preferably hold a Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Ideally hold the relevant CBIP

    qualifications

    for this position (ideally a minimum of two CBIP
