Charge Nurse Manager Emergency Department Services Permanent Full-Time Position Would you like the opportunity to demonstrate your strong nursing leadership capabilities in one of the busiest Emergency Departments in New Zealand? Here’s where you can really make your mark! We are looking for a Charge Nurse Manager to join the Emergency Department nursing leadership team! In this fast-paced environment, as a Charge Nurse Manager you will need excellent innovation, interpersonal and communication skills. You will need to be a well organised team player who will contribute to a working environment where people feel supported and valued. We are seeking a star performer who thrives on seeking solutions consistent with the organisation, service, and nursing strategies. You will need to have a commitment to continuous quality improvement and have the energy to strive for a very high standard of patient care that supports best patient outcomes. Some of the essential work you will be doing:- Provide exceptional professional and clinical nursing leadership
- Promote excellence in best practice, and safe, high-quality patient and whaanau centred care, resulting in a great patient experience
- Continue to coach, mentor, and develop the ED Nursing team, supporting, and enabling nurses to work to their top of scope
- Support and enable the ED department to meet key performance indicators
- New Zealand Nursing Registration
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Minimum 7 years recent and relevant experience
- Masters’ qualification or are currently working towards this
- Demonstrated expertise in setting standards and managing excellence in practice
- Ability to provide coaching and mentoring
- Proven leadership and staff management experience
