Senior Quantity Surveyor - Commercial Contractor, Tauranga

We are seeking a seeking an experienced QS, with proven track record in delivering commercial projects in NZ to become part of a cohesive and professional and well managed team within this recognised commercial contractor. This position will see the successful candidate thriving in a project focused role working alongside a high performing commercial team with streamlined processes and which offers the ability to be totally hands on. You will be responsible for full contract administration duties, budget comparisons, tender analysis of sub-contractors, sub-contractor agreements, variations and preparation of budgets. You may also be required to:

• Look to improve the business systems and efficiency to improve production.
• Accurately set and measure all pricing.
• Prepare registrations of interest, estimates and proposals for the Sales function of the business.

This long established regional company has a solid and loyal client base and has a steady flow of projects coming on board. We would like to hear from you if you meet the following criteria:

• A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying
• Proven experience in commercial Quantity Surveying in NZ
• Efficient organisational and planning skills with an eye for detail
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Solid computer skills
• NZ Drivers license
