Trainee/Phlebotomist - Invercargill Job In New Zealand

Awanui Labs are seeking for Trainee/Phlebotomist-Invercargill to join their team in Invercargill Central, Southland , New Zealand . Awanui Labs Invercargill (SCL) offers an important service to the community, and patient services department plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth collection and processing of samples for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate must holds a qualified medical laboratory technician (QMLT) in Phlebotomy qualification. This is a 12 months part-time position, candidate have ability to work 40 hours per week. It offers a competitive salary packages $70,970 to $73,941 per year. For this position, candidate have ability to handle contained specimens including human blood and tissues.

Responsibilities for Trainee/Phlebotomist – Invercargill:

• Candidate is responsible for preparing specimens for transportation involves ensuring proper packaging and documentation for safe delivery to the laboratory.
• To provide professional customer service entails effectively communicating with patients and healthcare professionals to address inquiries and concerns.
• Acting as a connection entails facilitating effective communication and coordination between healthcare professionals, patients, and the laboratory.
• Candidate is responsible to provide high-quality care to patients.

Qualifications for Trainee / Phlebotomist – Invercargill:

• The ideal candidate holds a qualified medical laboratory technician (QMLT) in Phlebotomy qualification.
• Ability to support to become a qualified phlebotomy practitioner with the Medical sciences council of New Zealand.
• It has ability to accurately follow detailed instructions and procedures in a fast-paced environment.
• It must have excellent computer and IT skills.
