About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
We currently have two vacancies which will increase your chances! These roles sit within our Customer Payments team, which lives within our wider Transactional Services team within Finance. We will rely on your end-to-end understanding of the AR process, though your role will primarily focus on POS cash management and bank reconciliations for our store network.
On any day you could be liaising with the wider finance team, through to our stores, operations team or our customers – so your ability to build relationships through trust, confidence and your actions will sum up success in the role.
Key components of your role include:
- Weekly POS cash management and banking
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Prepare reports for management
- Complete Journals in a timely manner
- Cross functional support – training cross functionally to flex and support the wider team
- Month End closes & supporting other members across the brands
Qualifications
About You | Mōu
Professional, solution focused, and customer centric describe you down to a t. Equally important are your strong communication (written and oral) skills and high attention to detail, along with your knack for coping well under pressure. An inquisitive & enquiring mind – finding & resolving issues is second nature.
Your energetic and flexible work approach will see you fit in well, especially as our team structure continues to evolve.
Our ideal candidate will also possess:
- Prior experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and/or Credit Control
- Experience with large ERP systems (Oracle would be a bonus)
- Advanced Excel skills (V look Ups, pivot tables & more)
- Comfort with high volume & clear deadline focus
- Strong bank reconciliation skills
- Previous retail experience with POS Cash Management and store sales would be a bonus
