WhatYou Will Be Working On As theInformation Management Officer, you'll contribute to delivering aprofessional, efficient, and high-quality information managementservice. Your responsibilities will be:
- Undertaking daily dutiessuch as processing, scanning, tracking, and distributing allincoming, outgoing, and internal correspondence, ensuringaccurate recording, classification and storage for easyretrieval.
- Assisting in designatedmanagement and maintenance tasks in the City’s centralelectronic document management system in accordance withestablished standard.
- Assisting the deliveryof group and individual training to staff on the City’scentral electronic document management system and effectiverecord-keeping practices.
- Maintaining theCity’s archival management and inactive physical documentstorage program in compliance with approved retention anddisposal schedules.
- Requiredqualifications in Records & Information Management,Archives Management, or a related field.
- Soundknowledge of Recordkeeping Legislation, Standards, andPractices.
- Familiarity with WesternAustralian record-keeping requirements and the functions of theState Records Office.
- Highlydeveloped level of computer literacy using a range of softwaresystems including the Microsoft suite, Adobe AcrobatProfessional and EDRMS equal or similar to Content Manager (CM)or Technology One Enterprise Content Manager.
