Position Overview: We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Interns focusing on bookkeeping services for our US-based clients. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of accounting, particularly in the context of serving international clients. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, interns will have the chance to enhance their skills, develop a deeper understanding of bookkeeping practices, and contribute to real-world client projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records for US clients, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable processing.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other deliverables for client review.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to clients for informed decision-making.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and provide timely updates on project status.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to further develop technical skills and knowledge of accounting principles.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and service quality within the bookkeeping department.
- Currently pursuing ACCA qualification with either Finalist status or Part-Qualified status.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles is preferred but not required.
