LEGAL COUNSEL As a Legal Counsel, you'll work with a great team of trusted experts; negotiating contracts, ensuring we’re above board with regulations, and safeguarding our intellectual property. You’ll be a key player in cross-departmental collaborations, bringing your legal prowess to the table. With our ever-evolving projects, no two days are alike. WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:
- Facilitate the establishment of launch agreements, ensuring comprehensive coverage and legal clarity.
- Responsible for drafting documents outlining communication protocols with ground stations globally, involving multiple layers of agreements with distinct terms.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, offer advice to internal and external clients, and propose contract language changes.
- Handle non-disclosure agreements originating from various business units, serving as the go-to resource for internal inquiries.
- Provide expert guidance on legal matters including NDAs, IP agreements, lease renewals, and supplier contracts.
- Communicate risks to key stakeholders, assist with legal projects, and improve operational processes.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, support business proposals, and liaise with external parties.
- Conduct legal research, manage document systems, and maintain confidentiality. Collaborate with colleagues to advance company goals.
- Holds a BSc in Law with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a fast-paced legal environment
- Proficiently handle inquiries from internal stakeholders with an independent and effective approach to swiftly resolve issues.
- Highly skilled in interpreting contract terms with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
- Thrives independently in a dynamic, high-pressure environment with diverse priorities.
- Motivated and adept at delivering exceptional client service.
- Complies with health and safety regulations and demonstrates willingness to travel as needed.
- Demonstrates flexibility to assist international teams outside regular hours on occasion.
- Manufacturing or production expertise favourable.
