About the Opportunity: The Treasury is currently undertaking a range of projects which are transforming its approach to ICT services. These initiatives are enhancing Treasury’s current cloud capability, while embracing contemporary concepts improving agility and repeatability, developing enterprise capabilities, reducing duplicative investment, and reducing reliance on legacy systems. You will be responsible for two IT Projects to strengthen our cyber security posture, as well as improve end-user experience. Both projects are due for final delivery/completion in June 2024. - Project 1 is the AV and VC Modernization project which is modernizing the AV and VC capabilities to support remote working and flexible arrangements and the introduction of an MS Teams enable call center solution. - Project 2 is the Infrastructure and Network Enhancements project which is streamlining the network architecture and infrastructure consumed by Treasury staff across TSY offices both within Australia and overseas, as well as introducing a cloud backup solution and Microsoft Information Protection. Responsibilities:
  • Manage the implementation of multiple IT projects as part of the broader program.
  • Be required to adhere to the Treasury’s Project Management Framework.
  • Provide on-the-job training and knowledge transfer to other Treasury IT staff to support internal capability uplift.
  • Complete relevant documentation including any Technical Artefacts and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • The successful candidate will be required to complete all Treasury mandatory compliance training modules.
  • Demonstrated Federal Government experience in the delivery of multiple IT projects, with a focus on end-user computing, infrastructure, and networking initiatives.
  • The successful applicant will be required to comply with all applicable Work Health & Safety.
