- Developing and leading on the frameworks and institutional insights required to undertake the Treasury's role of providing analysis and performance advice to Ministers for a range of organisations with commercial and public benefit objectives,
- Engaging to a high degree with internal and external stakeholders and working together with the provision of financial and strategic analysis and timely high quality useful advice to a number of Ministers including the Minister of Finance and the Minister for State Owned Enterprise,
- Providing expert technical advice across all aspects of the team's work together with thought leadership for the team and wider organisation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical matters and problems and experience advising Ministers,
- Understanding of the Crown's arm's length governance model and experience leading complex work programmes alongside business planning and accountability processes,
- An ability to collaborate and coordinate with colleagues across a diverse organisation and experience in mentoring or leading work programmes,
- Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills and the ability to influence and work with a range of stakeholders,
- Strong capability in assessing business, economic and/or policy environments, objective setting and implementation strategies,
- Sound qualitative, quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills that you can bring to bear on complex issues and/or amid changing environments and involving both short term and long-term considerations.
