Join us in shaping the future of the event marketing technology industry and delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients.*Job Overview*Under the general direction of the CISO, the Lead IT Administrator will oversee and manage the physical and virtual environments, along with their related infrastructure. Each of our functional products have their own virtualized hosting services that need to be overseen. The Lead IT Administrator develops, implements and oversees IT systems, hosting infrastructure and security systems that are utilized by all departments.As an Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in protecting our organization’s digital and on premise assets. Your responsibilities will span various aspects of cybersecurity policy making, auditing and accreditation management. Whether it’s assessing risks, monitoring automated alerts, or contributing to our security standards, your expertise will be vital in maintaining a secure environment.The Lead IT Administrator identifies the software and hardware priorities and plans for long-term IT needs. This important work also involves developing processes and protocols as well as active monitoring of operations security of each department and hosting environments.Administer and oversee desktop support as needed for various hybrid and remote users. Leveraging cloud based support and diagnostic tools to ensure seamless resolution. That includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all organizational hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance and employee productivity.*Responsibilities & Duties** Actively participate in security framework policy creation / annual reviews and participation* Conduct vulnerability audits and assessments and participate in investigations, design and execution of vulnerability assessments* Monitor computer networks and systems for security issues, penetration tests, security audits and document any security issues, in line with the information security goals as established by our policies, procedures and guidelines and to actively work towards upholding those goals* Respond to security alerts and work with the appropriate teams to investigate and triage.* Maintain documentation of support and infrastructure* Incident/problem management, escalation, and resolution activities* Participate in the deployment, integration and configuration of all new security solutions and of any enhancements to existing security solutions in accordance with standard best operating procedures generically and the enterprise’s security documents specifically* Navigate complex technical systems, develop workaround solutions, resolve underlying issues, and prevent future occurrences using automationPlan and perform implementations with minimal service impacts and solve complex technical and logistical problems* Advise and provide recommendations and guidance on planning, implementing and maintaining both IT and hosting infrastructure* Align IT service management initiatives with overall department strategy; Provide network and remote connectivity hardware/software support; analyze network logs, troubleshoot, and track issues that need to be resolved and corrected* Monitor server and network usage to ensure data security, access privileges, software updates and patches are applied to servers, switches, and other devices in accordance with defined schedules* Provide Administration of Gsuite, Office 365, Linux, Mac’s and Windows desktop operating systems.* Configuring Azure networking & maintaining the Entra ID (Formerly AAD), along with the interconnection with Google GSuite.* Working knowledge of production Azure app services, virtual machines and Kubernetes is considered an asset* Evaluate, test, install and recommend modern technologies that increase productivity, quality, and improve employee and customer-service experiences.* Some after hours and on call support when and as needed*Qualifications** Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.* Minimum five (4) years relevant experience administering IT networks, systems, and security within an administrative and research focused environment.* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience supporting security infrastructure, policy creation, monitoring and implementation* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience supporting business users and networks.* 2- 5 years’ hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure services and desktop computers,including Microsoft Entra ID (Formally AAD), Azure web services and other security products* Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate internally with end-users of varying abilities and externally with vendors and service providers.* Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, vendors and priorities.* Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
