- Ideate and secure commercially strong content, including cover line-ups and digital content in line with best practice using SEO and key data insights
- Maintain a high-quality editorial content mix across pillars and platforms
- Execute on strategies set by Are Media’s Centres of Excellence (Social, SEO, EDMs)
- Work closely with the producers of the Better Homes and Gardens television program to ensure alignment, collaboration and cross-promotion
- Manage, lead and inspire 5+ direct reports
- Drive a united cross-platform Omni Channel team with a shoppable mindset
- Drive and maintain best practice workflows
- 10 + years relevant experience in magazines and/or digital media
- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a team
- A history in creating, editing or commissioning quality omnichannel journalism
- Strong contact list that spans across talent, PRs and media
- A commercial mindset and ability to ideate on-brand client solutions
- High attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work positively with a wide variety of stakeholders and be efficient in managing up as well as down
- Experience in/understanding of working across multiple platforms
- Flexibility to change and ability to manage the related demands
