Sushi Clerk - Full-time

*Country Grocer* in *Cobble Hill * is looking for a *Sushi Clerk* *- Full-time *to join our team. Our Sushi bar provides customers with a variety of delicious raw, cooked, and vegetable sushi rolls, as well as poke bowls. In this job, you’ll play a key role in creating the many great sushi products we offer all while providing top-notch service to our customers! We are looking for someone awesome and experienced in all things sushi to join the Ladysmith team!*The Job:** As a Sushi clerk, you’ll be rolling sushi, cutting seafood, steaming rice and pricing product at the Sushi Bar!* You’ll offer fantastic service to our customers and ensure all prepared sushi items are properly labeled and rotated and that shelves are stocked to the brim!* When there is downtime, you’ll tidy up the department or take on any other required department duties as needed.*About You:** You work to ensure incredible service is provided to every customer* You can effectively and efficiently handle a variety of tasks* You can follow recipes and have great knife skills and cooking techniques* You can prepare a variety of menu items to produce a consistent outcomes*The Requirements:** 1-2 years experience in food preparation* Level 1 Food Safe certificate is an asset* Ability to walk and stand for the duration of scheduled shift* Ability to maintain a safe working environment and follow all established safety procedures#CGHighJob Type: Full-timePay: $16.75-$20.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* Company events* On-site parking* Store discountSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Holidays* Monday to Friday* Weekends as neededWork Location: In person
