Come work in-house for an award winning, established and innovative adventure Tourism Company based in Newmarket, Auckland. Your Role We are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to strategically work within our small team in Newmarket in an in-house role for an award winning, cutting-edge adventure tourism business. The primary platform you will be working on is Ruby on Rails. Forget the stress of working for an agency on multiple projects and tight-time scales. This is an exciting role for a passionate developer who wants to have the luxury to work on a small number of internal projects in-house. This will be a stand-alone role which means you will be the only developer in our team. Therefore we need someone who has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Ruby on Rails and who is happy to operate in a stand-alone role. You don’t need to know every answer but have the desire to self-learn, develop your craft and go the extra mile. This role is being advertised as a full time role but we are happy to receive applications from applicants who might not be able to commit to a full time position at this stage, or who might need to work remotely for part of the working week. Skills Needed

• 3 years Ruby on Rails experience
• Front End Development experience (ReactJS and EmberJS)
• Mobile development experience, especially responsive web development
• An appreciation for good interface design and usability
• Experience with WordPress
• Demonstration of a development methodology
• Strong understanding of the following areas: Improving site speed and other web metrics and building sites that are responsive
• Great communication skills and ability to work with our team to create tailor-made solutions
• A high degree of personal responsibility and the chance to own the technology
• Ideally experience with Docker, Github, Cloudflare
• Experience with Amazon AWS
