Software Engineer (.Net)

As a Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining Cin7 Products and their supporting applications & services, covering back-end services to client-side components. Your primary responsibilities involve designing, implementing, and enhancing software solutions. This includes close collaboration with cross-functional development and platform teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that align with Cin7's standards. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable solutions.
• Write application code meeting defined requirements and adhering to documented design and perform unit and integration testing on that code.
• Make technical contributions and be involved in wider team discussions.
• Create good quality artifacts and documentation.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of development and integrations created.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Assist system and testers in troubleshooting anomalies, understanding impacts and identifying solutions to bugs or gaps in functionality.

Competencies & role/education requirements

• Four years C# development experience, SQL development skills
• JavaScript experience (Preferable but not required with either React or Angular)
• Proven experience with Web Services, API development, Unit tests, Object-Oriented Design and SOLID principles etc.
• Able to articulate clean code principles and common design patterns
• Cloud development experience, particularly on Azure would be beneficial
