We operate throughout the lower North Island, in Wellington, Kapiti, Horowhenua, Manawatu and Hawkes Bay regions  With over 550 staff and volunteers, we work alongside the people we support to enable them to live fulfilling lives The Position As a Mental Health Support Worker you will be supporting clients by maintaining a high quality of life, a quality home environment, and encouraging full participation in all aspects of community daily life. We have casual roles available to work as and when required in Palmerston North. To be Successful in this role you will have:
  • A minimum of 12 months experience working within the mental Health, Disability or Aged care Sector or a lived experience.
  • A relevant qualification is preferable but not necessary.
  • Hold a current full New Zealand drivers licence  as you will be required to drive a van as part of your day to day job
  • The ability to take pride in a healthy home environment – including assisting with cleaning, meal preparation and shopping.
  • A caring and Kind in nature with integrity that can provide support to those from all walks of life.
  • Current eligibility to work in New Zealand
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Cooking skills and be able to follow a recipe
