With branches across Western Canada and a vast network of business brands, we are uniquely positioned to bring value to our partners at every turn. *Position Title: Sales Representative (West Kootenays)**Location: West Kootenays, BC**Starting Minimum: $50,000 Annually**Job Type: *Full Time Permanent *Position Summary: * Reporting to the Sales Manager or designate, the Sales Representative will be responsible for managing the West Kootenay territory. The Sales representative will frequently travel through the territory, maintaining a close relationship with customers, as well as travel to Kelowna on a regular basis to participate in sales meetings. *Key Responsibilities:* Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative’s responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: * Selling to the existing customer base, utilizing call sheets. * Ensuring timely collection of account balances from customers on a weekly basis, including distributing statements, processing credits, and ensuring adherence to invoice payment terms. * Expanding the existing customer base while adhering to company protocols for new account acquisitions. * Attend monthly sales meetings in Kelowna and the annual March conference. * Driving sales growth and margin improvement within the existing customer base. * Exploring opportunities to introduce new product lines. * Collaborating with customers to implement weekly advertising strategies aimed at business expansion. * Promoting protein specialties and Made at Centennial items. * Understanding market conditions, product innovations and sales; sharing relevant information with customers as part of value-added services. * Additional duties as assigned. *Qualifications and Skills:*· 1 to 2 years progressive sales experience in a similar sized operation; a combination of post-secondary education and experience will also be considered. · 1 to 3 years of related industry experience required. · Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues, and staff. · Self-motivated and able to work in, and outside of an office setting. · Strong attention to detail. · Ability and willingness to frequently travel. · Must possess a valid driver’s license. *Benefits and Perks** Comprehensive Health and Dental coverage for you and your family. * Registered Retirement Savings Plan with company matching contributions. * Subsidized Company Share Ownership plan. * Employee Family Assistance Program (support for mental health, financial services, and legal needs). * Employee pricing on thousands of high-quality foods. * Career advancement opportunities and training across the company. * Instant Pay: through pay streaming you can have instant access to earnings without having to wait for payday!* Belonging to a team that is passionate about food and long-term success.
