Operation - Freight Forwarding

Job Description

Coordinate and manage day-to-day operations related to freight forwarding activities, including import/export documentation, customs clearance. Communicate with clients, suppliers, and shipping agents to ensure smooth logistics operations. Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.  Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to shipments, delays, and other logistical challenges. Collaborate with other departments such as, accounting, and documentation to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency. Serve as the main point of contact for clients providing updates on shipment status and addressing any inquiries or concerns.. 

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Proven experience in operations roles within the freight forwarding industry, preferably in Egypt or the MENA region with exposure to both import and export. Strong knowledge of Egyptian customs regulations, import/export procedures, and documentation requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members. Proficiency in using logistics software and tools for tracking shipments and managing operations. Reefer Experience is preferred.
