The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical or clinical setting and be able to provide guidance on a variety of medical issues. Job Description
- Evaluate patients and provide appropriate medical treatment for various illnesses and injuries.
- Prescribe, administer and dispense medication in accordance with state and federal statutes.
- Ensure that patient care and is optimal and is in adherence to the clinical guidelines and quality standards.
- Document all patient evaluations, treatments, medications and transactions according to company policies and procedure.
- Performing inpatient and outpatient review with initial assessment and management.
- Supervise other clinical staff to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of current care methods and procedures and suggest improvements
- Minor medical, surgical and procedure.
- Pre employment medical checks.
- General administration of duties as regards patients’ welfare
- Any other assignment from higher authority
- Perform medical procedures, such as administering oxygen, taking vital signs and giving emergency treatments
- Selecting the appropriate settings and adjusting the patients’ positions accordingly
- Monitoring and caring for patients to ensure their safety and comfort during the procedures
- Carrying out Fluoroscopy procedures with the nurses and radiographers
- Select and examine images, search for differences between healthy and pathological areas and determine if the scope of the exam should be extended based on preliminary findings
- Complete the appropriate documentation and maintain patients’ medical records
- Assist Radiologists or Physicians and healthcare teams during invasive procedures
- Minimum qualification of an MBBS
- Certificate of Annual Practicing License
- Certificate of Full Registration as a medical practitioner
- Degree Certificate
- Proven work experience as a Medical Officer in a radiology centre or similar role
- Strong technical, communication, interpersonal and patient service skills
- The ability to explain technical terms in a clear and understandable way
- Excellent eyesight and attention to detail
- Strong analytical, judgment and decision-making skills
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Medical Officer
- Excellent knowledge of customer service delivery
- Responsible and compassionate
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
