We have exciting opportunities for an Intermediate and Senior Structural Engineers to join our KR team at Housing Delivery System (HDS) project offices in Auckland. HDS is a Kāinga Ora Homes and Communities initiative; they are changing the approach to how they deliver new homes and developments. If you want to be part of our KR team working as an integrated group, delivering on Residential Land Development across New Zealand, then we would like to hear from you. About the role As experienced Structural Engineers, you will manage and lead the delivery of our projects as part of the integrated team with HDS, as well as provide your technical expertise on designs. HDS is bringing a new way of working on their projects with all teams being brought together at their project office from the Architect to the Contractor and everything in between, to ensure collaboration and coordination across teams and to achieve project time-frames we work to a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday from 8.30am-5pm. - Qualified with a BEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering, or equivalent
- An experienced professional engineer, with New Zealand residential design experience
- Conversant with relevant NZ Building Codes and statutory requirements, with proven seismic experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients, local councils, architects, and contractors as well as lead and contribute to project delivery
- Adaptable with a keen eye for detail, excellent planning, organising, and time management skills
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary projects ensuring timeframes and project briefs are met
- Thrive on a challenge and be motivated to provide innovative solutions for our clients
- Enjoy working in a team environment and communicating with a wide range of people
