Quality Assurance Analyst

Our client is looking to add a Quality Assurance Analyst to their team. The QA will be responsible for developing and executing software test plans focused on but not limited to the Salesforce platform including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce OMS, Salesforce Core and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. They will be responsible for testing activities focused on product functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility of product lines. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and execute test strategy, test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software releases.Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers and project managers.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define testing strategies.Facilitate between business users and technical teams to identify and document all test scenarios.Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure proper functionality.Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, completeness, or to mitigate risks.Participate in design reviews, providing input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.Other duties assigned by managementQualifications:Post-secondary degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.5+ years of experience working as a Quality Analyst, Quality Tester or in a similar role.Experience with test automation tools.Proficient in testing methodologies, tools and frameworks.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.Strong communication and collaborative skills.Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software.Experience with Salesforce is preferredThank you for your interest.
