Roles and Responsibility- Report to Vice President
- Work in compliance to ensure activities comply with ethical and legal standards.
- Key focus industry is Paper and Water
- Effectively plan and implement business development and marketing base on company direction and strategies.
- Provide short and long-term development strategic planning, determine the feasibility of strategic plans in view of market development, and ensure sustainable development.
- Prepare monthly and annual sales report and forecasts.
- Identify potential sales for existing, new prospects and new market opportunities to achieve quarterly and yearly sales targets.
- Able to support SEA team if require.
- Submit customer visit report to superior or related functions.
- Submit customer meeting summary within the week after visit or meeting.
- Propose effective correction measures and provide guidance for problems arising from the sales process and customer needs to ensure that sales objectives are achieved.
- Work with others functions to prepare proposals requiring technical solutions, marketing data, product manager, pricing information, legal and others to achieve internal target and customer satisfaction.
- Managed and maintain effective relationships with distribution partners, customers and provide support, motivate, training, site trial, customer join visit and join event to increase the market share and sales.
- Follow up on regulatory requirements and support in any tender and governmental liaison from distributors or customers.
- Conduct reviews with distribution partners on at least quarterly basis
- Maintain competency by expand network with industry professionals, attending appropriate conferences, events and interacting with key stakeholders. with the aim to expand new sales opportunities and grow long term relationships
- Continuously analyse market potential, competitive activities and sales tracks then generate report to ensure competitive advantage.
- Minimum Diploma in Chemicals Engineering or similar/equivalent,
- More than 3 years' experience in Sales and Application of Paper retention aids, dry strength agent and PAM Polyacrylamide wastewater/sludge dewatering.
- Good track record of business development or assist on obtaining business.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work effectively.
- Proficient in spoken and written English, knowledge of additional languages (Mandarin and other languages) is an advantage.
- Good at MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
