The Role: We are seeking to employ a Diesel Mechanic here at Liddell Construction based in Greymouth . The ideal person will be capable of operating out in the field and in the workshop. When working out on-site, you will be servicing our various pieces of machinery or responding to breakdowns. In the workshop, you will be challenged with a wide and varied range of plant to maintain. Work ranges from small plant, plate compactors etc all the way through to Utes, trucks, construction equipment, and loaders. Petrol experience would be helpful. A real “can do” attitude will be a winner and you will enjoy being part of a team with a good variety of work. What you bring to the role:

  • 3yrs + Experience working as a Diesel Mechanic
  • Have a good attitude and be a team player
  • Have a clean driver licence, classes 2,3,4, 5 would be an advantage
  • Be flexible to work beyond “normal” working hours when required
  • A background within a similar industry would be a definite advantage
