Payroll Officer
Job details
Beca is one of Asia Pacific’s largest independent advisory, design and engineering consultancies. After a century of operation, we have grown from a family-owned business to one of the most progressive, client-centric professional services consultancies in our region. We have more than 4,000 employees in 25 offices around the world and have delivered projects in more than 70 countries. As a payroll officer who enjoys complexity, look no further! Our multinational, multi-jurisdiction payrolls will present variety and scope. Add in the internal and inter-company variables and you can be assured it’s not a routine payroll environment. If you have experience utilizing PSe that is a bonus. You will be responsible for ensuring our employees are paid the right amount at the right time, maintaining employee records and working closely with our People Advice team. You will also respond to enquiries promptly, providing accurate advice and managing all queries with sensitivity and care. You’ll have opportunity to share your expertise, while continually building on your own experience. You will also be supporting imminent technology change, which is an exciting opportunity for someone with an agile mindset who can help champion this transformative project. This role is for a 18 month fixed-term. You’ll be experienced in significant-sized end-to-end NZ payroll delivery – if you’re also familiar with the Asia Pacific region, even better! A go-to source for legislation queries and process across jurisdictions, you’re curious and enthusiastic to proactively upskill, remaining current and sharing knowledge in employment-related policy and regulations. You thrive on the value you and your team will contribute to our people, ensuring timelines are met and accuracy is assured. You naturally work collaboratively, building positive relationships with key stakeholders.
