Raglan Food Co is a Raglan-based food producer, and we make delicious coconut yoghurts & kefirs which are sold in stores around the country and across the globe. We pride ourselves on our commitment to lifting the vibe on plant-based eating for a happier, healthier world. We do this through having a tasty and outstanding, award-winning product range and our ongoing commitment to our sustainability efforts. We have a small, supportive team who are truly passionate about our company and our range. 

We are seeking a sustainability and environmental champion to step into our Head of Sustainability & Culture role. This passionate individual will play a lead role in driving our environmental programmes and local community initiatives forward whilst also helping shape and nurture our company culture. 

We want to build on our position as a leader in social & environmental sustainability and achieve our aim to leave the planet better than we found it. 

To be successful in this role you will be an outstanding leader with expertise in environmental, sustainability & social responsibility initiatives with an awareness of what it takes to create a thriving team culture.

Reporting to the CEO, this position is 30 hours per week (flexible), leaving you time to surf, swim, take some yoga classes or whatever you might do to lift your vibe.   

In addition to the above you will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

  • A strong passion and belief in making a positive impact on environment and community through business. 
  • 3+ years’ experience in environmental, sustainability and/or corporate responsibility roles 
  • An understanding of Certified B Corporation audit requirements and NZ’s Zero carbon act.
  • Experience in building great cultures and workplaces and either previous team leadership or HR experience.
